How we handle personal data.

This notice explains what personal data AfterMatter handles on this website and when you sign in to the AfterMatter product. Questions and requests go to privacy@aftermatter.ai.

This website

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. Our hosting provider processes your IP address and request details to deliver the pages; we do not keep access logs for this site.

Signing in to the product

AfterMatter is used by organisations that our administrators set up. To give you access we store your email address, your name if provided, and the organisations you belong to. When you ask to sign in, we email a one-time code from login@aftermatter.ai. Codes expire after five minutes and can be used once. After you sign in, a session cookie keeps you signed in for up to seven days; it is required for the service and is not used for tracking.

We send no marketing email. If a sign-in email bounces or is reported as spam, our email provider stops further delivery to that address.

Data you work with in the product

Information that customers upload or create in AfterMatter is processed on their behalf under our agreement with each customer.

Service providers and retention

We use service providers to host the product and send email, including Amazon Web Services. We keep account details while your access is active and delete them when it ends, unless we must keep them longer by law.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to privacy@aftermatter.ai. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
